Young Kennel Club Competitions

YKC Grooming Competition The Young Kennel Club ring holds a wide range of competitions and displays and members are even in with a chance to qualify for Crufts 2009!

If you are aged between 6 - 24 years old and love dogs, the Young Kennel Club is the ideal place for you.

The Young Kennel Club (YKC) encourages interest in the care, training and activities associated with dogs and has the following aims:

  • To educate young people in the care and training of dogs.
  • To develop courtesy, sportsmanship and self-discipline.
  • To encourage a sense of responsibility in dog ownership.
  • To enable young people to enjoy participation in and management of all activities connected with dogs.
  • To promote activities which fulfil the foregoing aims.  

YKC winnerIf you are not already a member and would like to enter this year’s Discover Dogs competition (due to take place in November 2008 at Earls Court 2, London) as well as other Young Kennel Club events and classes, join the YKC now! It’s easy to join and it only costs £12.
