 10.00 DFS Crufts Grooming Qualifier

If you love grooming your dog (whether a simple brush and clean or a more precise trim) this is a “can’t miss” competition which could see you qualify to take part in the grand final at DFS Crufts. This competition is open to members of all ages and levels but best of all, dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome - small, large, crossbreed, pedigree, long haired...the list is endless, so enter today.

 12.00 Britain's Got Talent - Kate Gin and Ice

Together with YKC member Kate Nicholas, Gin wowed the nation with a series of breathtaking freestyle dance routines on ITV’s primetime show Britain’s Got Talent.  Don’t miss out on the chance to see them both perform a new routine with the exciting addition of Kate’s new puppy, Ice.

For the first time we have opened up the DFS Crufts Qualifier to all dogs – that means pedigree, crossbreed, rescue, as long as your dog is on a KC register you can try your luck to qualify for the DFS Crufts finals on each day in the following age groups, 6-11, 12-16 and 17-24 years.

 13.00 Stop the Clock - Jump with Rufus

If you have often looked at dogs running around a course and thought that you would like to have a go, this is the place for you.  Stop the Clock will start with our mascot “Rufus” running a simple course of jumps and agility equipment.  Then it’s over to you in the audience.  We will provide the dog and the hands on helpers; all you need is the energy!

DFS Crufts Silver Jubilee Superhero Dogstable Course

DFS Crufts 2010 is set to be a special celebration for dog lovers of all ages as the Young Kennel Club (YKC) celebrates its jubilee anniversary. To commemorate 25 years of helping young dog lovers learn new skills, the YKC is holding a special Silver Jubilee Dogstable Course at Discover Dogs which will qualify members for the YKC competition at DFS Crufts next year.  The course will be based on a rally and will include agility and basic obedience moves – to make it even more special we are asking that members taking part dress up as SUPERHEROES to illustrate how fantastic they are.
