Scruffts: The UK's 1st Cross Breed Dogs Competition
Is your crossbreed the next Scruffts Family Cross breed Dog of the Year?
Scruffts is the nation’s favourite crossbreed competition and is a great way to enjoy time with your dog and family. A crossbreed is a dog of mixed blood, whose parents are of two different breeds, or a mixture of several breeds. Scruffts was launched back in 2000 at Discover Dogs 2000. Now Discover Dogs hosts the Scruffts semi-final to Crufts !
Scruffts 2014 Winner
Wylie, a crossbreed dog rescued from Afghanistan, has today (Friday March 7th) been named the Scruffts Family Crossbreed of the Year at the world’s greatest dog show, Crufts.
Wylie was near death before he was rescued by soldiers in Kandahar, Afghanistan, back in 2011. They took him to an army base where he was treated for some horrific injuries. Despite all of this he has recovered and is described by Sarah as a “gentle, trusting and loving dog”.
