Good afternoon from the second day of London’s leading dog event. Not
only is Discover Dogs bigger and better than ever before in our
spacious new surroundings of Earls Court 1, but today has been somewhat
brighter too! The rain and winds of yesterday failed to dampen the
spirits of thousands of visitors flooding through the doors on day one,
so you can guess how much fun the crowds attending today have had.
Polly Anna, a Shih Tzu/Poodle cross aged seven from Broadstairs in Kent
has been named overall Best Bitch in the grand final of the Companion
Dog Club Competition at London’s leading dog event, Discover Dogs 2009,
held at a packed Earls Court.
London’s biggest dog event Discover Dogs 2009, saw Bouncer from
Willesden in London crowned Scruffts Family Crossbreed Dog of the Year
2009 at a packed Earls Court 1 in West London.
To coincide with World Diabetes Day on Saturday 14th November, Cancer
and Bio-detection Dogs highlighted the work of its specially trained
Hypo Alert dogs at London’s leading dog event, Discover Dogs at Earls
Court. The Kennel Club Charitable Trust has helped fund the training of
this new type of assistance dog with a substantial donation.

The Kennel Club’s Companion Dog Club Competition is set to once again
light up Discover Dogs, London’s premier dog extravaganza, but this
time in its new home of Earls Court 1.
