Companion Dog Club Competition
Companion Dog Club competition at Discover Dogs 2009 – it's back and it's bigger and better than ever!
This year Discover Dogs is moving to Earls Court 1, which now means the Companion Dog Club will have its own ring! To celebrate this we will be holding even more classes which includes Pedigree classes for the very first time! You don't need pedigree papers, just CDC membership to enter.
Bitch Classes on Saturday 14th November, Dog Classes on Sunday 15th November
There are now 10 classes to choose from:
Novelty Classes
1. Prettiest Crossbreed Bitch – Saturday 14 November
2. Handsome Crossbreed Dog – Sunday 15 November
3. Most Appealing Eyes - The dog with the brightest, sparkliest, happiest healthy eyes.
4. Best Rescue - The canine companion who has had the most successful re-homing experience. Judges will look at the relationship between dog and owner, plus the dog’s general behaviour.
5. Waggiest Tail - the dog with the wiggliest, waggiest tail!
6. Best Buddies (Child Handler Under 12) – Where the child and dog are the best of friends. Judges will look at the relationship between dog and child; children may be accompanied by an adult in the ring.

7. AV. Puppy 6-12 months
8. AV. Terrier/Hound
9. AV. Gundog
10. AV. Working/Pastoral
11. AV. Toy/Utility
The Schedule and Entry Forms can be downloaded from the Companion Dog Club SIG (Special Interest Group). Please ensure you read the terms and conditions and complete and return your form by Monday 9 October 2009.
Not a Companion Dog Club Member?
If you are not a Companion Dog Club Member but would like to enter this year’s Discover Dogs competition as well as other Companion Dog Shows, join the Companion Dog Club now! It’s easy to join and it only costs £12!
The Companion Dog Club is the only club for dog lovers, it doesn’t matter if your dog is a pedigree or a crossbreed, with the Companion Dog Club, all that matters is your extra special dog!
When you join and register with the Companion Dog Club you will receive a membership pack with a range of goodies for you and your dog, online newsletters, access to online pages packed with news, competitions, special offers, a gallery of your canine pals and much more.
